Timeless
(Spring 2019)
High school is hard. It’s even harder when your past—or past life—comes back to haunt you. September 11, 2017 is the Sweet Sixteen Celebration of Life for the 9/11 babies. The babies aren’t babies anymore…they are teenagers traveling to New York for the 16th anniversary of 9/11.
Jackson Kennedy never knew his dad. Jackson was born on September 11, 2001…the day his dad died in the World Trade Center. If that’s not hard enough…Jackson has a fear of heights and elevators. Elevators…no really. Oh, and Jackson dreams of a girl named Lanie and guy named JR who maybe died on 9/11 too.
Celeste Calandra is afraid to fly. She’s took the train from San Francisco to New York to attend the event for 9/11 babies. Celeste dreams of guy named JR and a girl named Lanie who maybe died in a plane crash. The thing about the dreams…they feel more like memories.
Celeste and Jackson connect in New York. The connection seems to be entangled with memories of JR and Laney. Celeste and Jackson try to discover the mystery of JR and Laney and maybe stop a terrorist attack at the 9/11 Memorial...that’s high school.
